Effective Communication

Communication is a two-way street.  In this course you will examine communication processes and practices and the importance of taking responsibility for your communication activities.  Specific topics include: perception, communication process, listening skills, and communication rules.  You will learn:

  • How you fit into the communication process

  • The importance of feedback

  • How to read nonverbal communication

  • The importance of good listening

  • Why managers should welcome disagreement
