BS in General Science

Houghton offers a major in general science leading to the bachelor of science (B.S.) degree. General science exposes students to coursework in biology, chemistry, physics, and earth science, while providing the opportunity to pursue one of these four areas in more depth. The program requires eight credit hours each in mathematics, biology, chemistry, physics, and earth science.
