50% of Houghton students study abroad before they graduate
At Houghton, your learning will extend beyond the walls of lecture halls and laboratories, beyond our campus borders. For our 22,000 alumni living in all 50 states and 66 foreign countries, many of their first global experiences and inspirations to impact the world began at Houghton.
We think that a global worldview changes lives, and changed lives change the world.
Some think that you can’t “have it all” when it comes to education: an institution that is both academically rigorous and truly devoted to fostering a Christ-centered community.
At Houghton, we think you can.
You can be confident that the professors and community are centered around Christ. But be warned: we don’t see that as an excuse to “take it easy” on you. We’re going to ask you the hard questions. The good news is we’ll walk alongside you as you seek answers.
