Purpose: To
provide opportunity for the Houghton College students to
establish relationships with and minister to Allegany County
families and their children.
Evangelicals for Social Action
Evangelicals for Social
Action is a community which seeks to embody Biblical
images of social and environmental responsibility in the
context of the broken world in which we live. By
providing a forum to discuss social concerns coupled
with tangible opportunities to serve students are
attempting to live out the Kingdom of God ethic. Contact

Impressions Mime

Purpose: The
Impressions Mime Team seeks to honor God through the use of
pantomime as a form of worship for the team members and those
who we minister to, as well as through service to the community
and other groups.
Jesters for Jesus

What you
do: The Salvation Army Student
Fellowship provides an atmosphere for students
regardless of denominational background to be
spiritually and socially engaged and encouraged
through community service and Christian fellowship
both on and off campus. It seeks to provide students
with an opportunity to grow in the Word with each
other, have a time of relaxation from the daily
pressures of student life, and offer a home church
for students while at Houghton.
SIM
SIM is
represented at Houghton by Benjamin and Christine Hegeman.

is a gospel choir committed to
expressing its Christian heritage through fellowship and

the Southern Tier of Western New York. This will be done though Young
Life, a completely relational ministry towards high school
students, as well as through Wyld Life, a relational ministry
towards junior high students.
