Lord Signs with Women’s Hoops (5/7/2008) (Houghton, N.Y.)—Beth Lord, a center/forward for Houghton Academy, has signed a letter of intent to play women’s basketball at Houghton College. A two-time Allegany County All-Star, Lord will play for her father, H. “Skip” Lord, who coaches the women’s team at the college.
