Defeat Seton Hill, 1-0

The
Highlanders started their weekend road double-header against AMC North Division
opponent Seton Hill University with a win tonight, 1-0. The Highlanders improve
to 7-0-1 for the season with a perfect 3-0 start in the AMC North Division
Conference play.
The
Highlanders have continued to show why they are nationally ranked #3 in the
NAIA, continuing to win close games on the road.
So. Mandy Lewandowski
(North
East, PA)
scored
her 2nd goal of the season in the 55th minute of the game
from an assist from Sr. Krista Fowlkes (Lake
Placid, FL). The Highlanders have continued to show the dominance in all
offensive categories this year. The Highlanders tallied 15 shots for the game
while Seton Hill had 6. The Highlander’s also held the advantage in corner
kick’s 9-2.
So. Bethany Studt
(Earlville, N.Y.)
earned
her 2nd shut-out of the season with 3 saves tonight.
The
Highlanders next game will be away at 1pm September 23rd against AMC North
Division opponent Geneva College.
