ANOTHER TRACK RECORD FALLS AT ROBERTS

 

HOUGHTON, N.Y. – Sophomore Meghan Radimer continues to re-write the Houghton record books in the field events as she set a new mark in the discus at the Roberts Wesleyan Invitational on Saturday.

 

Radimer bettered her previous school record by nearly seven feet with a throw of 115-2. She also had another automatic nationals qualifying performance in the javelin with a throw of 130-6.

 

Teammate Kerri Koch ran a qualifying time of 4:45.6 in the 1500 meters.

 

The women finished 6th out of 15 teams, while the men grabbed a 9th place finish out of 15 teams.
