Highlanders
Continue Winning Streak, 4-1 Over Walsh.

The
Highlanders finished their road trip today with a 4-1 victory over Walsh
University.
Upperclassmen Bethany Kowalczyk and Brittany Crozier put up big numbers
combining for three goals and two assists to help the Highlanders move to 4-0-1
for the season.
Sr. Brittany Crozier
(Souderton, PA)
opened
the scoring for the Highlanders in the 3rd minute of regulation,
assisted by Sr. Krista Fowlkes (Lake Placid,
FL). This was quickly followed up with another goal by
Jr. Bethany Kowalczyk (Waterford, PA) in
the 5th minute, assisted by Sr. Brittany
Crozier (Souderton, PA).
Walsh
answered back with a goal of there own in the 25th minute which ended
the scoring till half time.

started
the second half with another goal in the 48th minute, assisted again
by Sr. Brittany Crozier (Souderton, PA).
So. Hannah Swift (Perrysburg, N.Y)
secured her second score of the season with a penalty kick at the 74th
minute, which closed out the scoring for the game.
Houghton
had 16 shots for the game with 13 being on goal, while Walsh had 10 for the game
with 7 of those being on goal.
The
Highlanders next game will be at 7pm September 7th at home against
conference rival Roberts Wesleyan College.
