Greensburg, PA - The Houghton Highlander Field Hockey team lost their second game of the season against the Seton Hill Griffin’s, 3-0. The Highlander’s kept the Griffins scoreless in the first half however Seton Hill capitalized on its few opportunities’ scoring three unanswered goals in the second half.  

Jaime Clark, Amy Kirby and Mel Benson scored for the Griffins displaying outstanding speed and stick-work leaving the Highlander defense in its dust.  

The Highlander’s did manage to rack up 17 penalty corners but were unable to produce anything offensively.  

The Highlanders record moves to 4-2 for the season. Their next game is home against SUNY-Geneseo on September 27th at 4:30 pm.
