                     SUNY-Geneseo def. Highlanders, 2-0

Houghton, N.Y. - The Houghton Highlander Field Hockey team lost their third game of the season against the NCAA Div. III opponent SUNY-Geneseo Knight’s, 2-0.  

The Highlander’s played short handed today without team leading goal scorer Sr. Stacy Garber (Lebanon, PA).  The Highlanders played well through out the match going toe-to-toe with the Knights, but Geneseo Laura Henson scored twice to seal the victory for the Knight’s. 

The Highlanders tallied 6 shots for the game with 2 shots on goal and 6 penalty corners.  

The Highlanders record moves to 4-3 for the season. Their next game is home against NCAA Div III Wells College on October 3rd at 4:00 pm.
