                   Seton Hill defeats Houghton, 3-1

 

Greensburg, PA- The Houghton Highlanders lost a tough game on the road tonight losing to the Seton Hill Griffins, 3-1 (19-30, 30-14, 15-30, 22-30). Fr. Holly Motheral (Paris, Ontario) had an outstanding game having 21 kills and 4 blocks for the game.

 

Sr. Emily Kuvshinikov (Edinboro, PA) posted 11 kills and 4 blocks for the Highlanders, with fellow Sr. Elizabeth Gardner (New Castle, PA) hitting a double-double with 44 assists and 16 digs for the match. Jr. Stefanie Swanson (Houghton, N.Y.) played a solid match defensively with 16 digs also.

 

The Highlanders must re-group before Saturday the 28th of October when they meet Former AMC North Division member St. Vincent College in a tri-match series. tomorrow.
