           Highlanders Defeat Notre Dame, 1-0

South Euclid, OH- The Highlander Men's Soccer team grabbed an important road win today over Notre Dame College, 1-0. In sluggish and wet conditions Fr. Dan Brubaker (Shippensburg, PA) scored the winning goal for the Highlanders improving the men to 3-1-1 AMC North Division record for post season play next week.

The game was highlighted by two-thirty minutes game delays due to thunder and lighting. "The guys just toughed it out," stated Highlander Coach Webb. Fr. Dan Brubaker (Shippensburg, PA)  came in the 23rd minute of play from an assist from Jr. Josiah Snelgrove (Coldstream, New Brunswick).

The Highlander's had nine shots for the game to Notre Dames fifteen. So. Erik Lefebrve’s (Ottawa, ON) collected his fifth shutout of the season having five saves for the match.

The Highlander's will now enter the AMC Qualifying Round next week. Opponent updates and venue will be posted on the Men's schedule when officially released.
