        Cedarville Defeats Women's Volleyball, 3-0

Rochester, N.Y. The Highlander Women's Volleyball team lost to the 2006 NCCAA National Champion Cedarville University today in the AMC Playoffs, 3-0 (20-30, 14-30, 22-30)

The Highlanders struggled against the potent Yellow Jackets offense today in the match. Cedarville controlled the net for most of the game not allowing the Highlander offense to build any momentum.

Jr. Stefanie Swanson (Houghton, N.Y.) lead the way defensively for th Highlanders racking up 13 digs in a difficult match against the Yellow Jackets.  Elizabeth Gardner (New Castle, PA) also delivered 16 assists for the game.

The Highlanders finish the season with an overall record of 17-13 with a 9-5 record in AMC North Division Conference play.
