"I am extremely pleased to have Aaron
Martin join our team. Aaron has been a stand out athlete in Allegany
County for the last few years at Fillmore in both soccer and basketball.
More importantly, Aaron has been a exemplary young man of character as
evidenced by the admiration and respect he has earned of those he plays
with and against. We have built a strong relationship with Fillmore
Central School and Coach Mullen in recent years and have been the
beneficiary of that relationship with the additions of Jesse Woolsey and
Adam Palmer last year, and now Aaron. Aaron is yet another great
Fillmore addition to Houghton's athletic department. Aaron is a very
hard worker and is eager to learn what it is going to take to play
soccer at the collegiate level. With his work ethic and desire I
envision Aaron becoming a strong college soccer player in the future.
His quickness and aggressiveness will be great assets for playing as an
attacker in our high pressure system of play. It is a pleasure to add
Aaron to our team and I look forward to being his coach for the next
four years."
