            Track & Field Send Two More To Nationals

Meet Results

Houghton, NY-  Two more Highlanders qualified for the 2007 NAIA Outdoors Track & Field Nationals this past weekend. Kaitlin Fadden qualified for the 10,000m and her older brother Ryan Fadden qualified for the 800m.

The Highlanders competed at the Susquehanna University - Jim Taylor Invitational over the weekend. Sending a small contingent of eight athletes, produced great results for the team.

 

Kaitlin Fadden qualified in the 10000 meter run - her first time running the event - with a time of 39:20.75. Her older brother, Ryan Fadden, qualified in the 800m run with a time of 1:54.15, both qualify as provisional qualifiers for Nationals.

 

The men once again took 1st, 2nd, and 3rd in the 800m: Ryan Fadden, Dan Ballard, and Josiah Snelgrove. Also Dan Ballard placed second in the 1500m.

 

For the Highlander thrower's Meghan Radimer took 1st in the Hammer and the men's Joe Mason was 2nd in the Discus Throw, 2nd in the Shot Put and 3rd in the Hammer.
