Women's Soccer
Signs Green
HOUGHTON, N.Y. – Jordan Green (Clyde, MI/ New Life
Christian Academy) has signed a
national letter of intent to play soccer at Houghton College, Highlander coach
David Lewis announced today.
Jordan
Green
(Clyde, MI/ New Life Christian Academy)
is an explosive forward who brings a tremendous touch to find the back of the
net. Tallying 61 career goals and 16 assists through her junior year and is
currently completing her senior season this spring. Green has been named 1st
Team All-Inner State Athletic Conference three times and is the Varsity Team
Captain.

Jordan
made an immediate positive impact on the play of our team from the first game
she suited up," said New Life Coach Terry Bennett. "She has good footwork and is
a “finisher” when it comes to pressing an attack. When a player of Jordan’s
caliber graduates, it generates mixed feelings…tremendous joy and pride in her
accomplishments… and it will be difficult to replace all of her talents with
just one player.”
“I like Jordan’s
determination and work ethic," said Highlander Coach Lewis. "She has a lot of
inner drive and combined with her athleticism, it will enable her to be a strong
collegiate player. We are looking forward to her addition to our soccer
program.”

Jordan is
the daughter of Stephen and Shelley Green. She anticipates studying Elementary
Education.
