                       Men's Soccer Signs, Presher

 

    

 

Houghton, NY- Brian Presher (Fairport, NY/ Fairport) has signed a national letter of intent to play soccer at Houghton College, Highlander coach Matt Webb announced today.
 

Presher comes to Houghton College after consecutive New York State Section V Final appearances in 2006 and 2005. A strong midfielder who scored 2 goals and 4 assists in a two year varsity career recording an overall record of 30-6-2, winning their league championship in 2005.


"Brian will give us depth primarily at the midfield position," said Highlander Coach Matt Webb. "He is a versatile player and is capable playing most positions on the field. Brian has played for a traditionally strong program at Fairport high school and with continued development should be a consistent player for us in upcoming years. Brian is an excellent fit for Houghton and we are very pleased to add him to the squad."
 

Brian is the Son of Allen and Dorothy Presher.

 

About Houghton College Men's Soccer

Houghton finished the 2006 season reaching the NAIA Region IX Final Four for the 1st time under Highlander Coach Matt Webb. Eventually falling to the NAIA Region IX Champions and Nationally Ranked #2 Rio Grande University 3-0. The Highlanders finished with a 6-10-3 overall record going 3-1-1 in AMC North Division Conference play.
