First Half Offensive Surge Key to Highlanders Win
(2/6/2010) (Houghton, N.Y.)— The Houghton Highlanders (9-14, 4-9) entered the game shooting early and often. In the first half they scored 44 points and shot 18-of-34 (52%) from the floor. Ultimately the University of Northwestern Ohio Racers (13-12, 5-7) could not overcome the explosive offense as the Highlanders emerged with a 71-68 victory.
