 Skrypnik Chosen for Red Cross/NAIA Leadership Program
(6/11/2008) (Houghton, N.Y.)—Houghton College point guard Lisa Skrypnik is one of only 12 athletes in the country chosen to represent the National Association of Intercollegiate Athletics (NAIA) in the Red Cross/NAIA Youth Leadership Program. (6/1/2008) (Houghton, N.Y.)—Lockport native Amie Stuitje has signed a letter of intent to play basketball for Houghton College next year.  Lord Signs with Women’s Hoops
(5/7/2008) (Houghton, N.Y.)—Beth Lord, a center/forward for Houghton Academy, has signed a letter of intent to play women’s basketball at Houghton College. A two-time Allegany County All-Star, Lord will play for her father, H. “Skip” Lord, who coaches the women’s team at the college.
