Highlanders Ink ‘Natural Scorer’
(5/19/2010) (Houghton, N.Y.)— Kristen Moose (Swain, NY/ Canaseraga) has committed to Houghton College and signed her letter of intent to play basketball in the fall. She is a 5’9” perimeter player whom Highlander Coach, H. “Skip” Lord, dubbed a “natural scorer”, she plays multiple positions, and is a leader on and off the court.

Three Highlanders Honored by AMC
(3/5/2010) (Houghton, N.Y.)— Upon the completion of yet another strong season for the Houghton Highlanders, three members were recognized by the American Mideast Conference for their particular contributions to the success of the team. Junior center Ashley Dupler (Jamestown, NY/Jamestown) was named to the First Team All-AMC, senior forward Leah French (Owego, NY/Owego Free Academy) received an honorable mention, and freshman guard Jennifer Hudson (Bloomfield, NY/Bloomfield) was named to the AMC All-Freshman Team.
