School: Forland has come off an
impressive senior run, averaging 11.4 points per game. She holds
four high school records, including most steals in a single season
with 66 and most blocks in a season with 71. As a junior, Forland
took the reigns as team captain and continued to lead in that role
as a senior. Forland has also garnered her share of awards and
recognitions. She was named to the Suffolk County All-League and
All-County teams her junior and senior years, and has received
several tournament all-star team honors. She was named team MVP at
the conclusion of her senior season.
