High School: Smith brings a firm inside presence into the post for the Highlanders. Averaging 20 point, 17 rebounds, 3 steals, 3 blocks, 4 assists per game her senior year. Her 263 career blocks, 839 career rebounds and 1,151 career points earned her honors in her high school’s record books as second all-time leading scorer. In addition she holds records for most points scored in one game: 40, most blocks in one season: 61, and most rebounds in one game: 28. At the conclusion of the season, she was named to the 1st team all league as a junior and senior, Western New York Sportsmanship award, Niagara Gazette 1st team all area and Lockport Union Sun and Journal Player of the Year.
