High School:
Skrypnik comes to Houghton after an impressive senior season in
which she averaged 16 points, seven rebounds, six steals, and four
assists per game. Her 892 career points and 319 career steals earned
her honors in her high school’s record books as fifth all-time
leading scorer and all-time leader in steals. At the conclusion of
the season, she was named to the All-Western New York third team and
was hailed as one of the top defensive players and point guards in
Section VI.
