(12/2/2008) (Houghton, N.Y.)— Senior Dan Ballard (Syracuse, NY/Faith Heritage H.S.) put an emphatic stamp on a standout career at Houghton College, recently, by becoming the first male athlete in school history to be named as an NAIA All-American in both track and field and cross country.

Six Cross Country Runners Headed to Nationals
(11/8/2008) (Houghton, N.Y.)—Led by Dan Ballard’s and Kaitlin Fadden’s fifth and fourth place overall finishes, the men’s and women’s cross country teams each finished fourth at the American Mideast Conference (AMC) Championship Meet on Saturday. The top three runners from each team earned spots at the National Association of Intercollegiate Athletics’ (NAIA) national meet.

Cross Country Teams Among Top Finishers
(10/25/2008) (Saratoga Springs, N.Y.)—Both of Houghton College’s cross country teams finished sixth from among 27 teams at the Saratoga Invitational, hosted by Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute on Saturday.
