Houghton Dining Services Board Plan
First-Year students and Sophomores must be on the Full Access Board Plan.
Juniors and Seniors living in the residence halls may choose from the Full Access, 14 meals per week, or 170 block plan.
Seniors living in townhouses or off campus may choose any of the plans: Full Access, 14, or 7 meals per week plans, or any of the block plans (170 or 90).
Juniors living in the townhouses may choose from the Full Access, 14 meals per week or 170 block plan.
Pricing for each plan is as follows:

All meal plans include $100 in Big Al Bucks. Block plans offer flexibility in scanning for family and friends, with the ability to apply up to 5 meals per meal period.
Any requests to change board plans must be submitted in writing to firstname.lastname@example.org by the end of the first week of classes. Requests for changes will not be accepted after this.
Exemption from board plan requirements
Requests for board plan exemption must be submitted in writing to email@example.com. The following groups of students may be exempted from board requirements:
- Commuting students
- Nontraditional students (age 24 or older by Sept 1st of the given academic year)
- Ninth semester students (and beyond)
- Students with documented health problems, which cannot be accommodated by our dining services.
- Part time students
- Student teachers
