PHYS 276: Experimental Physics Laboratory

Prerequisite: PHYS 275.

Course Description

Selected experiments in mechanics, electricity and magnetism and modern physics.  

This semester we will focus on the procedures, methods, apparatus, and theory of nuclear science, and finish with a field trip to use the Pelletron accelerator at SUNY Geneseo. Students will be expected to maintain a logbook of their progress and results, and write a formal report on the final experiment.
