Students Recognized for Academic Accomplishments

February 7, 2022

Houghton University is proud to announce its academic honorees for the Fall 2021 semester.

To attain Dean’s List, students who are enrolled full time need to obtain a grade point average of 3.50-3.74 during the semester while the Dean’s Honor List recognizes full time students who obtain a grade point average of 3.75-3.99. The highest achievement, the President’s List, acknowledges a competitive standard for full time students who maintain a grade point average of 4.0.

On behalf of everyone at Houghton University, we congratulate all of our Fall 2021 honor recipients on their dedication to academic excellence.

True to our mission, Houghton University provides our students with an ‘academically challenging, Christ-centered education in the liberal arts and sciences…and equips them to lead and labor as scholar-servants in a changing world’. Students attaining President’s List and Dean’s List honors exemplify and embody these ideals with utmost distinction. It is my pleasure to congratulate these learners for their consistently thoughtful and disciplined work that has enabled them to attain this honor. While these students have demonstrated academic excellence, their commitment to stewarding these gifts for the greater good of the world is to be commended, as well. Well done, students!!
