August Early Arrival Request (Group/Department Sponsored)

Faculty and staff who are inviting students to arrive early to campus in the Fall should submit this form by July 13, 2022. You can submit all of the names as a group by separating them with a period. Please note, all Early Arrival students  are the responsibility of the supporting faculty/staff member as Residence Life has either not yet arrived or in the midst of their own training.

Arrivals prior to August 15th are strongly discouraged - please reach out to Student Life directly if you have a group needing to arrive prior to August 15th.

Requests for students who have been invited back to campus early by staff or faculty for participation in official college programs or functions (Athletics, Residence Life, Transitions Leaders, etc.) must be submitted by the sponsoring faculty or staff member.  Please communicate the date of your approved arrival to your students. The Housing Office will follow up via email with your students regarding details about room keys and other check in procedures.

Please note that August Early Arrivals students should plan to arrive between 1-5pm on Thursday, August 18th or between 8am-5pm on Monday, August 22 as we do not have available support for weekend check-ins. We will do our best to accommodate arrivals outside of those times.

Meal plans for returning students begin on Wednesday, August 24th, 2022. You can contact Metz Culinary Management to coordinate needed meals for your group prior to that date (Email and Roxanne Bentley at
