Experience: More than 35 years befriending Muslims, including 10 years in North Africa

As missiologist with a large international Christian NGO, Dr. Little is a writer and editor who travels widely in the Muslim world as a consultant and trainer. He also teaches the Christian study of Islam at Houghton College part-time.

In May 2014, along with his Houghton colleague Dr. Benjamin Hegeman, Dr. Little launched The Lilias Trotter Center (LTC), a global training and educational ministry that seeks to better equip men and women serving among Muslims around the world. The LTC signed a collaboration agreement with Houghton College in Feb 2015. An early fruit of this collaboration was the offering of Houghton College residential courses Online simultaneously.

In the fall of 2015 Dr. Little will be teaching a new course entitled: REL 215: Islam: A Christian Introduction. This course will also be available for adult and students in other college to take for credit or audit online. For more information on the Lilias Trotter Center, please visit:

Dr. Little’s published his book with InterVarsity Press Academic in August 2015, titled Effective Discipling in Muslim Communities: Scripture, History and Seasoned Practices.
