Jon Craton

Resident Director of Rothenbuhler Hall

Jon Craton joined the Hougton community in 2013 as the resident director of Rothenbuhler Hall. Before coming to New York, Jon worked as a software engineer in Indianapolis, Indiana. He completed his undergraduate studies at Taylor University where he studied computer engineering and minored in math. He also received his Master of Arts in higher education and student development from Taylor University. During his graduate experience at Taylor, Jon worked with international students through InterVarsity and taught courses at both Taylor and a local community college.

He has been married to his beautiful wife Karin since 2010. Together, they enjoy all sorts of outdoor activities including biking, hiking, and kayaking. They also enjoy strategy games, ultimate, and watching movies.

Jon is excited to serve college students and to help them flourish and grow during their time at Houghton. He seeks to make Rothenbuhler Hall a place where men can deepen their identity in Christ and build genuine, mature relationships.
