Kathy Weller is a native of Wampsville, NY, and holds a BM and MM from the Crane School of Music in Potsdam, NY. Since 2001, she has taught at Ellicottville Central School in Cattaraugus County, where her duties have included band at all levels, jazz band, chorus, and general music. She currently teaches the 3 elementary bands and 2nd and 3rd grade general music and choir.
Ms. Weller is the secretary of the Ellicottville Teachers Association, an active member of the Cattaraugus County Music Teachers Association, where she serves as treasurer, and the New York State School Music Association. She is also a solo woodwind adjudicator for NYSSMA.
Ms. Weller is an active performer in the area. From musicals to orchestras to swing band, she can be found performing on clarinet, bassoon, saxophone, and flute regularly. When she’s not rehearsing or performing, she enjoys spending time with her house full of animals.
