DESCRIPTION:Join us in the Ortlip Gallery to celebrate our Senior Art Majors as they culminate their program of study with this exhibition of their artwork. This event is free\, and open to the public. Light refreshments will be served\, and each artist will be introduced by their Advisor in a brief talk (around 7:30). SUMMARY:AHA! Allegany Collegiate Start-up Competition
DESCRIPTION:Each year\, the AHA! Allegany County Startup Collegiate Competition brings together students who want to test ideas that can actually become businesses in the future. The competition invites students from Alfred University\, Houghton University\, and Alfred State College to pitch their startup business ideas in front of judges\, compete for cash prizes\, and see if what they built holds up.  The event is open to anyone from our campus or community.    Pitch Day – Saturday April 11th •	Registration Open: 11:30 am – 12:45 pm •	Lunch Available: 11:30 am – 12:45 pm (just at our regular dining hall so meal tickets must be received at the Registration table for non-Houghton students) •	Official Event Starts: 1 pm •	Judges Deliberation – Viewer’s Choice Award Voting – STARTS 3:30 – 3:45 ish – for 20 Approx •	Winner Announcement – APPROX  3:50 – 4:10 ISH •	Celebration & Group Picture: RIGHT AFTER Winners •	Expected Departure: by 4:30  Dress Code: Business Casual — Event Details: https://hub.houghton.edu/rsvp?id=385256
