What do you love about being an RD.

  • I love the transformation that happens in the residence hall setting. There is something powerful that happens when young men live in community and seek the Lord together. It is an absolute honor and a joy to be a part of fostering a community that reflects the image of the Lord.

What is one of your goals in life

  • I would love to be sent out on one project for national geographic. My dream projects would include, but are not limited to: Photographing arctic foxes, capturing time lapses of the night sky, anything to do with the north or south poles and also capturing all the media for a piece on the history of the Upper Peninsula of Michigan.

Hope for this year: I hope that the guys in both Shen & Roth leave this year a little bit closer to the Lord then when they came. My prayer for this year is John 3:30. I hope that the Lord increases in every single residents life and that they decrease. I also am praying that this group of men can help be a part of the redemptive narrative of what it means to be a man of God. We are currently in a climate where Godly men are few and far between. I hope these young men take up the mantle which is presented to them and that they boldly walk in the ways of the Lord together.
