Nuk Oden is a 2011 Houghton alumna. Having her master’s in mental health counseling and post-masters in higher education, Nuk has both a research-based orientation towards interventions and praxis that impacts the holistic development of the individual as well as an acknowledgment of systems and community culture effects. She hopes that the Mosaic Center meets the individual needs of students, faculty, and staff, while also educating and broadening the perspectives of the community in order to be a more inclusive reflection of Christ’s Kingdom. Nuk is currently pursuing her PhD. through Regent University with research interests in compassion, belonging, and multicultural intersectionality.
