Instructor of Cello

Rintaro Wada studied the cello performance in Rochester, NY, and Japan, earning a Master of Music from Eastman School of Music and a Bachelor of Music degree and the post-graduate diploma from the Showa University of Music.

His performances have given in Japan, Italy, and the US, and have been invited to perform by radio programs, Universities and concert associations.

Currently, Mr. Wada is the Artistic Director of the Chamber Music Society of Olean, Inc., cellist of the Western New York Chamber Orchestra, MostArts Festival Orchestra, Orchestra of Southern Finger Lakes, Director of the Olean Community Orchestra, Olean High School Orchestra, and cello instructor of the Greatbatch School of Music of Houghton University and Alfred University.

He resides in Allegany, NY with his wife Ritsuko, and their children. Mr. Wada (strings) and Mrs. Wada (piano) teach in their private studios.
