Intercultural Student Programs Office

The Intercultural Student Programs Office (ISPO) exists to serve international and TCK students by providing access to important resources, helping with cultural adjustment, advocating for unique needs, building relationships with students, and planning valuable programs designed to promote intercultural learning on campus.

Some of the primary services of the ISPO include:

Activities and Events

Each year the Intercultural Student Programs Office plans lots of cross-cultural activities and events for the student body in order to provide our students with the opportunity to engage with a variety of cultural backgrounds and to learn from diverse traditions and experiences. Some examples of recent campus wide events include:

  • Cross cultural church visits
  • Discussions on diversity
  • International poetry night
  • and more…

In addition to these, we also plan events that are specifically for international students and TCK’s.  These activities focus on building relationships with each other, experiencing American culture, and helping to meet specific international/TCK needs.  Some recent examples include:

  • Interconnect Orientation Program
  • Host family events
  • Shopping trips
