Houghton will coordinate TAP, Pell, Say Yes, and all available scholarships, which has allowed many Buffalo East students to graduate debt-free.
Earn your first college degree in Business, Criminal Justice, Psychology, or Liberal Arts. All credits transfer to a 4-year degree from Houghton.
Daily on-site tutoring and small class sizes provide you with the support you need to succeed. Textbooks, laptop, and a monthly bus pass are also provided.
Equip Yourself for the Future
Receive a spiritually-rooted college education with a focus on the rich tradition of African American moral and intellectual engagement. Our two-year program leads to an Associate of Arts degree in liberal arts.
Qualified students will complete a semester-long internship in their field of study. Your courses fulfill general education requirements that can be transferred to four-year colleges or universities for a bachelor’s degree. An agreement with Buffalo State College allows students to transfer seamlessly into more than 170 programs.
