Confirm your enrollment

Return confirmation of enrollment form and submit your enrollment deposit of $300 (response requested within four weeks of receiving your financial aid package)

Once you have declared your course preferences, our Registrar’s Office will put together a course schedule for you based on your stated preferences

Enrollment Timeline

Key milestones and when you can expect to hear from Houghton about different steps in the enrollment process.

May 1 (or soon after acceptance) - Confirm Enrollment

Confirm your enrollment and submit your enrollment deposit - before May 1 or soon after acceptance!

May 1 - Course Schedule

Students who confirmed enrollment by priority deadlines receive course schedules before or soon after May 1. All others on a rolling basis as you submit your Course Preference Form.

June 1 - Receive Notification of Housing Selection

If you have submitted your Housing Preference form (see above), you'll be notified your housing selection and roommate assignment.

Early July - Receive your Fall Bill

You will receive your Fall bill in early July - pay it by the deadline in early August so you can focus your attention on planning to arrive in Houghton!

August 25 - New Student Arrival and Move-In

If you are an international student or student athlete, connect with your enrollment advisor and/or coach for additional information.
