Assistant Professor of Biology

Microorganisms are tiny organisms that can have large impacts on everything from human health to the environment on a global scale. More broadly, studying biology allows us to relate to the world around us in unique ways. These relationships are what originally drew me to biology as a field of study. Houghton’s Christ-centered approach to both academic excellence and spiritual growth provides a unique environment in which to pursue these studies, which I appreciated during my time here as a student and continue to appreciate now as an instructor.
