I love all things related to teaching and learning. As far back as I can remember, I was a teacher. I often taught my siblings, the neighborhood children, and children in my church. I enjoy the challenge of learning new things, and as a educator, I have found great joy in helping others to learn how to love and appreciate learning as well. I am grateful to be able to serve at Houghton University because it enables me to fully live out the Gospel in every area of my life, including vocational practice. I absolutely love investing in teacher education students and helping them fulfill their calling as educators. Houghton’s mission and mine are well aligned.
