What is Stellic?
Stellic is an automated degree planning and progress tracking tool that helps students and their advisors map out academic plans, check degree requirements, and explore major and minor options.

Why are we implementing Stellic?
Stellic enhances degree planning, advising, and academic tracking by providing an interactive and dynamic system. It is updated nightly.

Is Stellic replacing Self Service/registration procedures?
No; course registration will continue in Self Service. Major, minor, and concentration declarations/changes will continue to be processed using the request forms found on the forms page of the Registrar's Office webpage. While Stellic updates nightly, major/minor declarations and changes may take 2-5 business days to be reflected in Stellic.

How do I access Stellic?
You can access Stellic through stellic.houghton.edu. Access will vary depending on your role (student/advisor) and the student class launch dates (see below).

Stellic Implementation Timeline

When will I start using Stellic?
Students will gain access depending on their class launch schedule:

  • September 15 โ€“ Undergraduate students who began in the 2024-2025 school year
  • September 29 โ€“ Undergraduate students who began in the 2025-2026 school year
  • November/December โ€“ Undergraduate students who began in the 2022-2023 and 2023-2024 school years
  • Summer 2026 (anticipated) - Graduate programs
