Scholar-Servant Fund

Scholarships are a great way to support the education of Houghton students, but they aren’t our students’ only needs. They need outstanding faculty and staff to invest in them, inspire them and encourage them. Students need technology and equipment to support hands-on learning necessary to thrive in their vocational callings. They need co-curricular and extra-curricular programming to support their growth as whole persons. The needs of college students are varied and many, and to ensure these needs are all met, Houghton University is introducing the Scholar-Servant Fund.

The Scholar-Servant Fund is inclusive of the Student Scholarship Fund, and scholarship funds will always remain a significant need for our students. But the Scholar-Servant Fund goes beyond scholarships to support the development of the whole person while offering University leadership the flexibility to ensure that every aspect of our students’ experiences have the funding support necessary to ensure the highest quality.
