Anna Ferri ’17 has been working on a research project with the Baker Institute:Center for United States and Mexico. The Baker Institute Center for the United States and Mexico focuses on the U.S.-Mexico relationship through original research, relevant solutions to binational policy issues, and the advancement of mutual understanding by convening leaders who can bridge the two nations for a brighter collaborative future.
Anna had a paper published as part of a larger inter-institutional project in addition to presenting it this past April at the 2021 Association for Borderlands Studies’ international conference on a panel labeled “Practical Solutions to the Immigration Challenge.”
“Anna grew both in her academic abilities and her grace while at Houghton. Since leaving Houghton she has pursued her master’s and continues to demonstrate a Christlike spirit of caring and empathy for others.” noted Marcus Dean, Professor of Intercultural Studies and Missions and Director of Off-Campus Studies.
