He helps to send students around the world as director of Off-Campus Programs/Study Abroad and supervising students in their Intercultural Experience as part of the INCL major, minor, and INCL concentration for Inclusive Childhood Education student. His doctoral research focused on why missionaries stay on the field, and continues to explore related areas of study. He published a recent article in Evangelical Missions Quarterly titled “ The Missionary as Cultural Pilgrim”. The articles looks at the role of missionary as a person who really belongs in no one culture.
