Welcome to summer at Houghton College! Every year, nearly 3500 students attend summer camps at Houghton College.
Summer sports camps
This year, we are offering athletic camps for students entering grades 1 - 12. A variety of summer camps combine fun, excellent teaching by qualified instructors, and a focus on encouraging and developing Christian character qualities while exploring a sport or specific subject matter.

Mom & Me Retreat / May 30 – June 1
This weekend-long event is a chance for you Single Moms to: bond with your children, some lasting memories, experience outdoor activities at minimal cost, relax from a hectic life, encouraged for the future, you are not alone in your struggles and someone cares!
Csehy Music Camp / July 6 – 12 / July 13 – 19 / July 20 – 26 / July 27 – Aug. 2
Founded in 1962 by Hungarian violin virtuoso Wilmos Csehy, the Csehy Summer School of Music is a Christian organization dedicated to developing excellence in classical music in a Christian environment.
FLN Super Summer / July 7 - 11
Be assured, this is not your average teen camp. Super Summer is the place to take your student leaders to the next level in discipleship, evangelism, and their walk with Christ. If you want to see a long term impact in your church’s youth ministry, this is your chance to invest in the leaders that provide the foundation for that ministry.
Never The Same Camp (NTS) / July 13 - 17
NTS Camp sets the table for a student to meet with God. But our philosophy is that the camp is just the beginning. NTS is strategically structured so that the student is set up for long-term spiritual growth and success accomplished by providing a support structure that continues on throughout the year.
Houghton Family Camp (refresh) / July 27 – Aug. 1
At Refresh you will find a blend of spiritual, mental and physical activities throughout the days for you and your family to participate in.
Houghton College is located 65 miles southeast of Buffalo and 70 miles southwest of Rochester in Houghton, New York. On all sides of our 1,300-acre campus is the scenic beauty of the rolling hills and northern hardwood forests of Western New York.

If camper transportation is needed from the Buffalo or Rochester airports to Houghton College, please contact the individual camp directors to see if they are able to assist you. Camp directors will try to help you arrange transportation for campers flying in. The fee will be $60 per trip ($60 Pick-up / $60 Drop-off from either Buffalo or Rochester International Airports).
