  • Engage in coursework in Calculus, Algebra, Analysis, Number Theory, Probability, Differential Equations, Proofs, & non-Euclidean Geometry

How do mathematicians communicate their ideas? Learn about the central idea of proof in mathematics and develop the skills to begin writing your own. Learn how to apply methods of propositional logic, direct proof, proof by contradiction, and mathematical induction that you will use throughout your mathematical career.

MATH 325 Real Analysis

If calculus is so foundational to many different areas of applied mathematics, shouldn't it have a rigorous foundation itself? In this course, youโ€™ll explore the math behind important calculus topics like sequences, series, continuity, differentiability, and integrability.

MATH 351 Modern Geometries

What happens when we take away Euclid's parallel postulate? Go beyond Euclidean geometry and explore Finite, Hyperbolic, and Elliptical geometries.
