Behavioral Neuroscience Major

Hands-on Experience

Participate in a variety of experiments in your lab courses at Houghton. Take part in brain and spinal cord dissections, and collect real-time data using tests like the 64-channel EEG system, EMG, EKG, EOG. Grow as a researcher, coming up with your own questions and then designing and conducting experiments to find those answers. Your research could lead to publication in peer-reviewed journals or participating in presentations at conferences and symposiums.

In the Behavioral Neuroscience program youโ€™ll have the opportunity to work one on one with your professors due to the small class size.
