A Range of Reason

The Houghton Philosophy Major draws from Oxford’s Politics, Philosophy, and Economics (PPE) Model. This model introduces you to various approaches to these three areas, helping you understand the world we live in.

Career Preparation

The study of philosophy enhances basic intellectual skills. This includes critical thinking, conceptual analysis, reading comprehension, and writing. Graduate with excellent pre-professional training for any career you would like to pursue.
