What to (and not to) Bring to Houghton

This list was put together with input from incoming students and their parents alike. It is not intended to cover every need but merely to be helpful in generating your own checklist of items to bring. Some items may seem obvious but sometimes those are the ones left behind!

Not every item is essential. To avoid unnecessary duplication, we suggest that you be in contact over the summer with your roommate. If you are uncertain of the necessity or advisability of an item, please contact the Office of Student Life at 585.567.9220.
